let digit at tens place be x and on one's place be y

according to question...

x+y=7........ equation 1

real number=10x+y

by interchanging=10y+x

therefore...

10y+x-(10x+y)=27

>9y-9x=27

>y-x=3(dividing by 9)..... equation2

adding equation 1 and 2

x+y+y-x=7+3

2y=10

y=5

therefore x=2....
