Heya !!!
Let another rational number be X.
According to question,
3/10 + X = -3/5
3 + 10X/10 = -3/5
5 ( 3 + 10X ) = -30
15 + 50X = -30
50X= -30-15
50X = -45
X= -45/50 = -9/10
Hence,
-9/10 should b added to 3/10 to get -3/5.

Sum of 2 ratio.no. = - 3/5
One of them=3/10
Let the other no.be x
Then, x+3/10= - 3/5
X= - 3/5 - 3/10
=-6-3/10
= - 9/10
So the other no. = - 9/10

X= - 3/5 - 3/10
=-6-3/10
= - 9/10
So the other no. = - 9/10
