2x² - 8x + 6

on comparing this eqⁿ with ax² + bx + c

we get....

a = 2 ; b = -8 ; c = 6

sum of zeroes = - b / a

=> alpha + beta = - ( -8 ) / 2

= 8 / 2

= 4

hope it helps.... !!!!
