a= 1,b=2,c=k
b square - 4ac=2 square -4×1×k
= 4-4 k
4=4k
k=4/4

It is given that sum of the zeroes is equal to the product of zeroes .
=> -b/a = c/a. =>-2/k =3k/k (k and k gets cancelled ) therefore -2/k =3 => k= -2/3. Therefore the right answer is k=-2/3
