Solution :

Let the three consecutive numbers are x, x+ 1 ,

x +2

According to the question,

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 60

3x + 3 = 60

3x = 60 - 3

3x = 57

x = 57/3

x = 19

x + 1 = 19 + 1 = 20

x + 2 = 19 + 2 = 21

Hence,the first number = 19

the second number = 20

and the third number = 21
