the sum of three consecutive multiple of 9 is 999 .

we have to find the numbers .

solution:-

let. the first multiple of 9 = 9x

because these are consecutive .

then

2nd number = 9(x+1)

3rd number = 9(x+2)

Now,

According to question:

9x +9(x+1) + 9(x+2) = 999

=> 27x +27 = 999

=> 27x = 999-27 = 972

=> x = 36

hence;

1st number multiple of 9 = 9× 36 = 324

2nd number multiple of 9 = 9×37 = 333

3rd number multiple of 9 =9× 38 = 342
