Here is yr answer....
Given,
Sum of the three consecutive even no. = 48
Now,
let the nos. be x, x+2 , x+4
x+x+2+x+4 = 48
3x+6 = 48
3x = 48-6
3x = 42
x = 42/3
x = 14
1st no. => 14
= x+2
= 14+2
= 16
2nd no. => 16
= x+4
= 14+4
= 18
3rd no. => 18
The nos. are 14 , 16 , 18
The greastest is 18

hey dear here's ur answer
let one of the consecutive integers be x
so the second integer is x+2
and the third one is x+4
so the equation will be formed like this...
x+x+2 +x+4 =48
which implies 3x=42
or x=14
so we got the numbers finally
so the first number is 14
and second number is x+2= 2+14=16
and the third one is x+4 = 14+4=18
and 14 + 16+ 18 is 48.. and all the numbers are even too..
and greatest of these is 18..
