the sum of three consecutive even natural numbers is 48.find the greatest of these?

Let the first number be X

The other number becomes , X+2 and X+4

We are given ,

X+X+2+X+4=48

3X+6=48

3X=42

X=14

Therefore the numbers are 14,16 and 18

Hence the largest of these is 18

Let the three consecutive even natural numbers be x, x+2,x+4.
