Let the numbers be x , x + 1 , x + 2
According to the question
x + ( x + 1 ) + ( x + 2 ) = 78
x + x + x + 1 + 2 = 78
3x + 3 = 78
Subtract 3 from both sides
3x + 3 - 3 = 78 - 3
3x = 75
Divide 3 from both sides
3x ÷ 3 = 75 ÷ 3
x = 25
1st no. = x = 25
2nd no. = x+1 = 25+1 = 26
3rd no. = x+2 = 25+2= 27

Here is your solution

Let,
The first even integer be:x

Then the second even integer is:-
x+2

Then the third even integer is:-
x+2+2=x+4

Sum of three consecutive even numbers =78

A/q

(x)+(x+2)+(x+4)=78
3x+6=78
3x=78-6
3x=72
x=24
now

The first integer is: x = 24

the second integer is: 24+2 = 163+2 = 26

the third integer is: 24+4 = 163+4 = 28

Hope it helps you
