GIVEN :

Sum of three consecutive even numbers = 156

Let the numbers be x , x + 2 , x + 4

According to the problem,

x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 156

3x + 6 = 156

3x = 156 - 6

3x = 150

x = 150/3

x = 50

Value of first term = x = 50

Then,

Second term = x + 2 = 50 + 2 = 52

Third term = x + 4 = 54

Therefore, the three terms are 50, 52 and 54.
