so , given sum is 222
x+2+x+4+x+6= 222
3x+12 = 222
3x = 222-12
3x = 210
x= 210/3
x = 70
so x+2 = 70+2= 72
x+4= 70+4 = 74
x+6= 70+6 = 76
so the numbers are 72 ,74 , and 76.
so option C is right answer..

Let the three consecutive numbers be x, x + 2, x + 4.
Given that sum of three consecutive even numbers is 222.
= > x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 222
= > 3x + 6 = 222
= > 3x = 222 - 6
= > 3x = 216
= > x = 216/3
= > x = 72.
Now,
x + 2 = 72 + 2
= 74.
x + 4 = 72 + 4
= 76.
Therefore, the consecutive even numbers are 72,74,76 - Option (C).
