Answer:

let the three consecutive multiples be

(x),(x+9),(x+18)

(x)+(x+9)+(x+18)=990

x+x+9+x+18=990

3x+27=990

3x=963

x=963/3

x=321

so,

the multiples are (x),(x+9),(x+18)

(321),(321+9),(321+18)

321,330,339

Answer:

Heya your answer goes like this:-

Let,

The first number be x

The second number be x+9

The third number be x+18

Sum of three consecutive multiples of 9 is 990

A/q

x+x+9+x+18=990

3x +27=990

3x=990-27

3x=963

x=963/3

x=321

Therefore,

The first number is x=321

Second is x+9=321+9=330

Third number is x+18=321+18=339

You can check your answer as:-

Putting the values of x in the following polynomial

x+x+9+x+18

=321+321+9+321+18

=321+330+339

=990

Hope it helps
