Answer:

48+51+54

Step-by-step explanation:

3 NO=x,x+3,x+6

therefore ,x+x+3+x+6=153

       3x+9=153

         3x=159-9

           3x= 144

            x=144/3

               = 48

1st no=x=48

2nd no=3+x=48+3=51

3rd no=6+x=54

Answer:

48, 51, 54

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:- Sum of three consecutive multiples of 3 = 153.

To Find:- Multiples whose sum = 153.

Solution:-

Multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, ......

So we can see that multiples of 3 has a difference of 3.

Let the first multiple be x.

∴ The next two consecutive multiples will be x+3 and x+6.

Now,

      x + x + 3 + x + 6 = 153

  ⇒ 3x + 9 = 153

  ⇒ 3x = 153 - 9

  ⇒ 3x = 144

  ⇒ x = 144/3

  ⇒ x = 48.

∴ The three consecutive multiples are 48, 48 + 3 = 51, 48 + 6 = 54.

Hence, the three consecutive multiples of three whose sum is 153 are 48, 51 and 54.
