Let the first multiple of of 3 be x

Then second multiple is x + 3

Then third multiple will be x + 6( As they are consecutive multiples of 3)

So according to question

x + x + 3 + x + 6 = 291

or, 3x + 9 = 291

or, 3x = 282

or, x = 282/3

x = 94

First multiple of 3 is x = 94

Second multiple of 3 is x + 3= 94 + 3= 97

Third multiple of 3 is x + 6 = 94 + 6= 100
