Answer:

Let the smallest multiple of 6 be 6x

The next multiple is 6(x+1)

The biggest multiple is 6(x+2)

The sum of these multiple is 72

6x+6(x+1)+6(x+2)=72

6x+6x+6+6x+12=72

18x+18=72

18x=72-18

18x=52

x=3

now put the value of x above

6x3, 6x4, & 6x5

so ,here 6x5=30.

which is the biggest multiple of 6 in 72

check

18+24+30=72
