Answer : 288,296,304

let the 3 consecutive multiples of 8 be ,

8n -8 , 8n , 8n + 8

(8n-8) + 8n + (8n+8)

= 24n

24n = 888

n = 888/24

n = 37

so the numbers ,

8n - 8 = 288

8n = 296

8n + 8 = 304

Let three consecutive multiples be 1st = 8x

then. 2nd = 8x+ 8

3rd====== 8x +16

equation = 8x+8x+8+8x+16=888

=24x+24=888

= 24x =888-24

=24x =864

x=864/24

x=36

1st multiple =8x

8×36

288

2nd multiple = 8x+8

8×36+8

296

3rd multiple =8x+16

8×36+16

304
