hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

ATQ, the sum of three consecutive multiples of 8 is 888.

let the three consecutive multiples of 8 be 8x , 8x + 8 and 8x + 16.

therefore 8x + 8x + 8 + 8x + 16 = 888

==> 24x + 24 = 888

==> 24x = 888 - 24

==> 24x = 864

==> x = 864/24

==> x = 36

hence, the multiples are :-

8x = 8 × 36 = 288

8x + 8 = 288 + 8 = 296

8x + 16 = 288 + 16 = 304

hope this helps..!!

ravikhoiwal13: X+X+X=888
ravikhoiwal13: 3X = 888 , X= 888/3 = 296
ravikhoiwal13: 1ST = 296 ,2ND = 296+8= 304, 3RD = 304+8=312

Here is your solution

let
The three consecutive number be x, (x +8) , (x + 16 )

A/q

=>x + (x +8)+(x+16) = 888

=> x + x+8 + x + 16 = 888

=> 3x + 8 + 16 = 888

=> 3x + 24 = 888

=>3x = 888- 24

=> 3x = 864

=> x = 864/ 3

x = 288

Number are

x = 288

(x + 8) = 288 + 8 = 296

( x + 16) = 288 + 16 = 304

The three consecutive no be 288, 296 and 304

hope it helps you
