Sum of three Consecutive multiples of 9 is 999.

Let the first multiple be x.
Second multiple = x + 9
Third multiple = x + 18.

ATQ
x + (x+9) + (x+18) = 999
3x + 27 = 999
3x = 972
x = 324.

Second multiple = 324+9 = 333
And, third multiple = 324+18 = 342

According to question,



Sum of these numbers = 999

X + X + 9 + X + 18 = 999

3X + 27 = 999


3X = 999 -27


3X = 972



X = 972/3



X = 324




First Number = X = 324



Second number = X + 9 = 324 + 9 = 333



and,



Third Number = X + 18 = 324 + 18 = 342.
