To Find :-

Solution :-

Let

• First consecutive number be x
• Second consecutive number be (x+1)
• Third consecutive number be (x+2)

Sum of three consecutive number is 78

According to the question :-

x+(x+1)+(x+2)=78

1. x+x+1+x+2=78
2. x+x+x+1+2=78
3. 3x+3=78
4. 3x=78-3
5. 3x=75
6. x=75/3
7. x=25

• 1st consecutive number=x=25
• 2nd consecutive number=x+1=25+1=26
• 3rd consecutive number=x+2=25+2=27

Hence the numbers are 26,26,27
