Let the no. be x , x+3 ,x+6.
so,x+x+3+x+6 = 72
= 3x + 9 = 72
= 3x = 72-9
= x = 63/3
= x = 21.
so ,Greatest no. = 21+6 = 27

hope it help

x+x+3+x+6=72 (ATQ)
3x+9=72
3x=72-9
3x=63
x=21
Putting the value-
x+x+3,x+6
21
21+3=24
21+6=27
