Step-by-step explanation:

Let the smallest of three consecutive even integers be x, thus other two consecutive even integers are x + 2 and x + 4.

As per the statement, sum of these three consecutive even integers is 90. As such

x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 90

3x + 6 = 90

3x = 90 - 6

3x = 84

x = 84/3

x= 28

The smallest of three consecutive even integers is 28. other two integers are

x + 2 = 28 + 2 = 30

x + 4 = 28 + 4 = 32

Thus three consecutive even integers are 28, 30 and 32

The sum of three consecutive number is ninety

Let the numbers = x , x+1 , x+2

x + x+1+x+2 = 90

3x +3 = 90

3x = 90 - 3

3x = 87

x = 87/3

x = 29

The numbers = x, x+1, x+2

Numbers = 29, 30,31

Hope this will help
