Given:-

The sum of three consecutive numbers is 156.find the number which is prime out of these number.

To find:-

Number which is prime out of these three numbers.

Solution:-

Let the three numbers be x, x+1 and x+2.

According to the given condition,

x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) = 156

 \implies 3x + 3 = 156

 \implies 3(x + 1)= 156

 \implies (x + 1)= 52

 \implies x = 52 - 1

 \implies x = 51

Therefore,

x = 51

x + 1 = 52

x + 2 = 53

Numbers are 51, 52 and 53.

Prime number: 53.

Answer:-

The required prime number is 53.
