Let the numbers be = x, x+1, x+2

According to the question,

X+x+1+x+2= 60

= 3x+3=60

= 3x= 60-3

=3x= 57

= x= 19

So, the nos. Are

x=19

question:-

  • find three consecutive integers whoes sum is 60

solution:-

  • let's assume the smallest number as x
  • so the other two numbers will be x+1 and x+2
  • so x+x+1+x+2=60
  • 3x+3=60
  • 3x=60-3
  • 3x=57
  • x=57÷3
  • x=19

so the numbers are 19,20,21

check:-

see whether their sum =60

19+20+21=60

so hence verified
