Let the three consecutive numbers which are multiple of two = 2x-2 , 2x , 2x+2

Sum of these numbers = 48

2x-2 + 2x + 2x+2 = 48

6x = 48

x = 48/6 = 8

Numbers = 2(8) -2 = 14 , 2(8) = 16 , 2(8) +2 = 18

Numbers = 14,16,18
