Answer:
-19, -17, -15
Step-by-step explanation:
x + (x+2) + (x+4) = -51 ( +2 and 4 becoz any number plus even number = odd number)
3x + 6 = -51
3x = -51 - 6
3x = -57
x = -57/3
x = -19
1st no = x = -19
2nd no = x+2 = -19 + 2 = -17
3rd no = x+4 = -19 + 4 = -15

Let the three consecutive numbers are x-1, x, x+1.
according to question,
(x-1) + (x) + (x+1) = -51
or, 3x = -51
or, x= -17
therefore numbers are -16, -17, -18
And middle one is -17.
