Let the numbers be x , x+1 , x+2_______

x + x+1 + x+2 = 45

3x + 3 = 45

3x = 45 - 3

3x = 42

x= 42\3

x=14

So the numbers are :

14 , 14+1 , 14+2

14 , 15 , 16

14 + 15 + 16 = 45

30 + 15 = 45

45 = 45

given that sum of this consecutive no. is 45.

we know that,

difference between any consecutive odd no. is 2

d= 2

a+a+d+a+2d=45

a+a+2+a+2(2)=45

3a+6=45

3a=45-6

3a=39

a=39/3

a=13

first term(a)=13

three consecutive no. are..
