3x+6=57
3x=57-6
3x=51
x=17

Let the three consecutive odd numbers be y,y+2 and y+4
Now given sum is equal to 57
ie;y+(y+2)+(y+4)=57
ie;y+y+2+y+4=57
ie;3y+6=57
ie;3y=57-6
        =51
Therefore y=51/3
                   =17
Therefore the three consecutive numbers are y=17
                                                                           y+2=17+2=19
                                                                           y+4=17+4=21
