Answer:

Let the smallest number be x

If smallest number is x then next consecutive numbers will be (x+1) & (x+2)

∴ x+ x+1 + x+ 2 = 63

==> 3x + 3 = 63

==> 3x = 60

==> x = 20

∴ The smallest number is 20

Answer:

let the 3 consecutive odd numbers be x, x+2, x+4.

By the problem,

x + (x+2) + (x+4) = 63

3x + 6 = 63

3x = 63 - 6

= 57

x = 57/ 3

x = 19

therefore the smallest of these numbers is 19
