Solving First eqn. , we get
- 3a = 27
- a = 9
Putting value of a = 9 in second eqn. we get
- (9 - d) × 9 × (9 + d) = 288
- (9)² - (d)² = 32
- d² = 81 - 32
- d² = 49
- d = ±7
