The sum of three integers is 24. The larger integer is equal to the sum of the two smaller integers. Three times the smaller integer is equal to the larger. Find the integer. Write them in increasing order.

Then,= x+3x+(3x-x) = 24                           (Since 1st no. is x so, 2nd be 3x-x)

         = 4x+2x = 24

         = 6x = 24

         = x   =  24/6

         =  x   =  4

So, x = 4

1st no. = x = 4

2nd no. = (3x-x) = (12-4) = 8

3rd no. = 3x = (3*4) = 12

= 12, 8, 4
