Step-by-step explanation:
let, the first term = x
difference= d
therefore, x+(x+d)+(x+d+d)=-15
3x+3d= -15
x+d=-5
x=- 5-d
and secondly,
x×(x+d)×(x+d+d)=375
putting the value of x ,
We have,
(-5-d)(-5-d+d)(-5-d+d+d)=375
(-5-d)(-5)(-5+d)=375
(25+5d)(-5+d)=375
-125+25d-25d+5d²= 375
5d²=375+125
d= √75+5
=√100
= 10
therefore x= -5-(10)
= -15
