Let the three numbers of an A.P is (a-d),a,(a+d).

The sum of 3 numbers of an AP is 3.

i.e. a-d+a+a+d=3

3a=3

a=\frac{3}{3}

a=1

The product of the first and the third number is minus 35.

i.e. (a-d)(a+d)=-35

a^2-d^2=-35

(1)^2-d^2=-35

d^2=36

d=\sqrt{36}

d=\pm 6

When a=1 and d=6,

a-d=1-6=-5

a+d=1+6=7

The numbers are -5,1,6.

When a=1 and d=-6,

a-d=1-(-6)=7

a+d=1+(-6)=-5

The numbers are 6,1,-5.
