Hello,

Let the first angle be x degree
Therefore, the adjacent angle will be x-40 degrees

The sum is given as 110 degrees.

So we can get the answer my equating the two. So the equation is -

x+x-40 = 110
2x = 110 +40 = 150
x = 150/2 = 75

Therefore,
One of The angle is equal to 75 degree and the other adjacent angle is equal to
x-40 = 75 - 40 = 35 degrees

So, the adjacent angles are 75 and 35

Hope this will be helping you ✌️

Answer:

let the one of the angle be x°

Then the other is x-40°

A.T.Q

x+(x-40)=110°

x+x-40°=110°

2x=110°+40°

2x=150°

x=150°/2=75°

other angle = 75°- 40°=35°

Step-by-step explanation:

So This is the full explained answer
