1st angle =x+40. 2nd angle=x

sum of the 1st and 2nd angle= 100

so,x+40+x=100

2x+40=100

2x=100-40

2x=60

x=60/2

x=30

so,2nd angle=x=30

and,1st angle=x+40=30+40=70
