sum of two angles =80°
therefore,
x+y = 80°
their difference =20°
therefore,
x-y=20°
now, equate both the equations :
so ,
2x=100°
x =50°
y= 80 - 50 = 30°
proof:
x+y+z=180° ( angle sum property of a triangle)
x= 50°, y=30° and z =?
50 + 30 +z =180°
80° + z = 180°
z= 180° - 80° = 100°
therefore,
x = 50° , y = 30° and z = 100° .
