Answer:

Let the first number = x

Second number = x +1

So,

(x) + (x+1)=61

→ x + x +1 = 61

→ 2x +1 = 61

→ 2x = 61-1

→ 2x = 60

→ x = 60/2= 30

So, First number is = 30

And Second number is =31

Answer:

Hence , the two consecutive numbers are 30 and 31

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two consecutive numbers be x and x + 1

Given :

x + x + 1 = 61\\2x + 1 = 61\\2x= 61 - 1\\2x = 60\\x = \frac{60}{2} \\x = 30\\\\If \: x = 30\: then \: x + 1 = 30+1=31\\
