Let ,

The Number = x

Consecutive Number = x + 1

Sum = 14

Hence ,

x + x + 1 = 14

2x + 1 = 14

2x = 14 - 1

2x = 13

x = 13 / 2

x = 6.5

So,

The Numbers are ;

First Number ( x ) = 6.5

Other Number ( x + 1 ) = 6.5 + 1

= 7.5
