Let, the Consecutive even number be (X) and (X+2).

Sum of two consecutive even number is 14.

According to the question

(X)+(X+2)=14

=> X+X+2 =14

=> 2x+2 =14

=> 2x =14-2

=> 2x =12

=> X =12/2

=6

Hence, the two consecutive even number are (x)=6 and (X+2)=(6+2)=8.
