✨✨Hello mate ✨✨

Here is the solution :-

Let the number be X , X + 2 & X + 4

Then, according to the question :-

x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 18

3x + 6 = 18

3x = 18 - 6

3x = 12

x = 12/3

x = 4

The number are :-

x = 4

x + 2 = 4 + 2 = 6

x + 4 = 4 + 4 = 8

from which, 4 is the least number.

Let the least even no. be 2k

Then the next consecutive even no. is 2k+2

Thus,

2k+2k+2=18

4k+2=18

4k=16

k=4

Therefore,the least no.

=2k=2×4=8
