  • The sum of two consecutive even numbers is 38 . find the number?

 \sf \pink{Solution : }

Let, the first consecutive even number = x

➪ Let, the second consecutive even number = x + 2

⇒ x + x + 2 = 38

⇒2x + 2 = 38

⇒2x = 38 - 2

⇒2x = 36

⇒x =\cancel\frac{36}{2}

⇒ x = 18

⟼ The First Consecutive Even Number will be x = 18

⟼ The Second Consecutive Even Number = x + 2 = 18 + 2 = 20

➦ The two consecutive even numbers whose sum is 38 are 18 and 20.
