let the two consecutive multiples of 10 be x and x+10

the sum of two consecutive multiples of 10 is 210

x+x+10 = 210

2x+10 = 210

2x = 210-10

2x = 200

x = 200/2

x = 100

smallest multiple = x = 100

largest multiple = x+10 = 100+10 = 110
