LET THE FIRST CONSECUTIVE MULTIPLE OF 10 BE 10X

THN SECOND BE 10X+10

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

=>10x+10+10x=90

=>20x+10=90

x=4

hence the multiples are 100,110

Step-by-step explanation:

let the sum of two consecutive multiple of 10 be x and x+10

then the sum of the 2 consecutive multiple of 10 is 90.

  • now x+x+10 = 90
  • 2x+10=90
  • 2x=80
  • x=40
  • smallest multiple = 40
