Let consecutive multiple of 2 are 2x , ( 2x +2) .

A/c to question ,
sum of consecutive multiple of 2 = 18
2x + (2x + 2) = 18
4x +2 = 18
4x = 16
x = 4
hence ,
number are , 2x = 2× 4 = 8
(2x +2) = 2×4 +2 = 10

8 and 10 are the consecutive multiple of 2

Let consecutive multiples of 2 be 2x , ( 2x +2) .


sum of the  consecutive multiples =  18 
That is ,

2x + 2x + 2 = 18 

4x + 2 = 18

4x = 18 - 6

x = 16/4

x = 4

Therefore ,
The numbers are :-
 2x = 2× 4 = 8 
2x +2 = 2×4 +2 = 10

8 and 10 are the two  consecutive multiples of two .
