Let,

two consecutive multiples of 3 be

3 x and 3 ( x + 1 )

then,

3 x + 3 ( x + 1 ) = 69

3 x + 3 x + 3 = 69

6 x = 69 - 3

6 x = 66

x = 66 / 6

\boxed{ \bf{x = 11}}

Hence, the multiples will be

3 x = 3 × 11 = 33

and

3(x+1) = 3 ( 11+1) = 3 × 12 = 36 .
