The sum of two consecutive multiples of 3 is 69. Find them.​

To Find,

  • The Two Multiples .

Solution,

Let's,

The First Number = 3X

So,

The Second Number = 3X + 3

The sum of two consecutive multiples of 3

= 69 (Given)

=> 3X + 3X + 3 = 69

=> 6X = 69 3

=> 6X = 66

=> X = 66/6

=> X = 11

Required Answer,

The First Number

= 3X

= 3(11)

= 33

The Second Number

= 3X + 3

= 3(11) + 3

= 33 + 3

= 36
