Let the first no. be "a"

Second No. be "a+3"

According to question  

a+a+3 = 69

2a+3=69

2a=69-3

2a =66

a=66/2

a =33

a+3=36

Therefore the numbers are 33 and 36

So these are in the form a and a + 3

Multiples of 3 are numbers that are divisible by 3 .
