The sum of two consecutive multiples of 4 is 60. Find the number.​

According to the question , required equation :-

4x + 4x + 4 = 60

Solving equation :-

4x + 4x +4 = 60

8x + 4 = 60

8x = 60-4

8x = 56

x = 56/8

x = 7

The numbers are :-

4x = 4×7 = 28

&

4x + 4 = 4×7+4 = 32

Hence the required number are 28 and 32 .
