Let the two consecutive multiples be x and x+6

So,
A/q=》》》x+ (x+6)=66
2x=66-6
2x=60
x=60/2
x=30

So the multiples are 30 and 36

Let the sum of two consecutive multiples be 6x and 6x + 6

Given that the sum of two consecutive multiples of 6 is 66.

6x + 6x + 6 = 66

12x + 6 = 66

12x = 66 - 6

12x = 60

x = 60/12

x = 5.

Therefore the 1st multiple = 6x = 6 * 5 = 30

The other multiple  = 6x + 6

                               =  6(5) + 6 = 30 + 6 = 36.

The multiples are 30 and 36.
