Let x be the consecutive multiple of 8 , Therefore

• First number = x
• Second number = x + 8

According to Question :

→ x + x + 8 = 120

→ 2x = 120 - 8

→ 2x = 112

→ x = 112/2

→ x = 56

First number = x = 56

Second number = x + 8 = 64
