⟹ let two consecutive numbers be x and x+1

⟹ (x)+(x+1) = 25

⟹ x+x+1 = 25

⟹ 2x+1 = 25

⟹ 2x = 25-1

⟹ x = 24/2

∴ x = 12

the two numbers are : x = 12

x+1 = 12+1 = 13

∴ the bigger number is 13.
